IT Process/Business Analyst

The Service Delivery Team for out Fortune 500 level client is in search of an experienced Process/Business Analyst to support project needs with business process gap analysis, continuous improvement opportunities, requirements gathering and documentation. The role will provide support for a specific project interfacing with other analysts in the department.


Responsibilities: • Creation of process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for IT Services • Collection and documentation of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts • Facilitation of process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases. • Reviewing information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels • Conducting maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns • Conducting external and internal service reviews to identify continuous improvement opportunities • Presenting recommendations to senior management for improvement „ • Helping prioritize improvement opportunities „ • Leading, managing and delivering cross functional and cross divisional improvement projects • Building effective relationships with the business and IT senior managers „ • Influencing all levels of management to ensure that service improvement activities are receiving the necessary support and are resourced sufficiently to implement solutions • Review business requirements while looking for opportunities to apply technology to improve delivery for business customer. Qualifications: • Demonstrated skills and success with process improvement design and workflow analysis • Experience with business requirements elicitation and definition • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening and presenting) • Proven ability to prioritize workloads and to manage multiple priorities with critical deadlines Work Experience and Education Guidelines: • 3-5 years’ experience in business and/or process analytics within a technology-focused organization • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Project, Visio • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Financial Management or equivalent work experience preferred • Experience with process and ITIL methodologies and reporting preferred Core Competencies: • Critical thinking and creative problem solving • Strong Attention to detail and quality • Self-motivated and proactive individual contributor • Team player with ability to effectively deal with multiple priorities ad working styles • Organizational skills • Strong communication skills • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience • Ability to effectively navigate complex business environment with multiple stakeholder groups • Strong ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks • Agility and Flexibility within a changing environment
