Our client needs an IT Business Analyst for support of HR applications.

You will be working with Technical Analysts and business professionals to do problem resolution or small enhancements when necessary.

Experience supporting Success Factors and .Net applications is necessary to perform well in a role of this kind.

Summary:
The Business Analyst job family defines skills for formulating and defining system scope using information technology and industry knowledge/requirements, based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. Our HR IT Operations Support team is looking for an IT Business Support Analyst with demonstrated capability in: business analysis, application development, and application support expertise to support Human Resource Applications that are critical to HR Business Processes. There is a strong focus on SAP Success Factors functionality and experience with .NET applications is also important.

Scope of Work Examples:
Coordination of technologies and business; Gather requirements and solutions development; Coordinate QA efforts and translate to solutions

Primary Responsibilities:
• Executes application support tasks for HR applications (break fix and/or small enhancements)
•Analyzes issues to be solved and helps provide solutions to meet the desired business outcomes through the use of IT.
•Understands and documents business requirements and user requirements to ensure system designs meets business needs. (develops and/or refines business requirements)
•Documents, functional requirements that describe the system, process, or product to fulfill the business requirements
•Works with distributed teams local and offshore (e.g. technical analysts)
•Performs ad hoc, custom reporting and data analysis
•Partners with business and IT personnel
•Ensures IT and SOX compliance is covered

Required Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience with SAP Success Factors-supporting success factors applications in a business analyst role
2. Application development and support experience (.NET, Success Factors and SQL)
3. Business analysis with the capability to engage with business representative.
4. Basic understanding of application security
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation skills


Nice to Have Skills:
1. Ability to execute standard ITSM Processes (e.g. incident and change mgmt.)


Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent

5-7 Years of Experience Required
