LOCATION: SAN FRANCISCO
PAY: $19/HOUR

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL INVENTORY SPECIALIST FOR THEIR ONLINE TEAM **

SUMMARY:
The Inventory Specialist will support the International Inventory Management team by completing tactical execution at the product/category/item level. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring pre-season and in season tactical inventory management functions are completed to support the divisional financial and inventory plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Update and maintain all style/color level details within the ACT system
• Report out on ongoing changes in units and costing and product strategies (season code, time on offer, color, etc)
• Hindsight sizing and determine profiles to use for sizing and packing purposes
• Execute strategies for packing, pre-packs, size balancing and inventory balancing
• Run, execute, and publish reporting for Monday business reviews and hindsight meetings using EDW applications and excel based reports
• Provide ad hoc system support as needed
• Execute all pre-season and in-season pricing and promotions actions
• Enter markdowns and promotional price points for each style within market
• Ensure accuracy of markdowns, promotional pricing and effective dates (including manual changes)
• Responsible for responding to DC inquiries about pricing accuracy
• Order management and receipt reconciliation – follow up with production counterparts and PO creation errors
• Update and report on style level attributing and other system maintenance
• Responsible for maintaining all changes to existing style numbers
• Assist with basic allocation activities: New style release, pick estimates, liable DC inventory clean up

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Administrative experience and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with a strong aptitude for managing systems and technical learning
• Analytical skills and basic understanding of retail and retail math principles
• Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure proper, timely and accurate execution
• Ability to identify priorities and execute with sense of urgency
• Possess effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong communication and team / relationship skills
• Exhibit confidence and common sense when accessing and utilizing expert resources
• Demonstrate strong ability to be financially responsible and strong understanding of the financial and other impacts of mistakes
• Work effectively and efficiently as a member of a cross-functional department team
• Possess initiative and the ability to work independently
• Professional and mature attitude
• Detail oriented: Naturally inquisitive about new processes and inventory management as a topic
