PAY: $15.79/HR

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL INVENTORY ANALYST! **

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Develops, executes, and communicates merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of one or more departments
• Manage the financial success divisions/departments by meeting sales, gross margin and inventory productivity goals
• Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division/department and class
• Collaborate with merchandising to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities by division/department and class
• Create pre-season sales, gross margin, inventory plans by division/department, class that support product strategies
• Reconcile top-down to bottom-up class plans
• Recap, analyze actual sales results to plan, forecast in-season sales, inventories weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Identify risks, opportunities to business, recommend strategies to achieve financial goals
• Own open to buy forecasts
• Re-forecast sales, manage inventory for all basic styles to meet division/department financial goals
• Develop direct reports to achieve peak performance and individual career goals
• Communicate financial results, forecasts, action plans to manager and cross-functional team on a weekly basis
• Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team
• May manage and support the career development process of Planning Analysts and/or Online Inventory Specialists to ensure job satisfaction, retention and future talent development
• Provide timely feedback and direction to direct reports to foster rapid skill development and performance improvement
• Develop, maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-brand and cross-functional team (merchandising, marketing, production, planning, and DC/Operations)
• Develop cross-divisional relationships to share best practices

MYST HAVE:
• Strong listening, written, oral communication skills
• Possesses a clear understanding of financial measurements including: sales, gross margin, inventory productivity measures such as weeks of supply and how to impact them
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 1-2 years experience as a Planning Analyst or equivalent
• 1-3 years of retail buying, planning or related analytical experience
