Human Resources Process Improvement Analyst

Fortune 1000 company in Davidson, NC is in need of a Human Resources Process Improvement Analyst to join them for a year long assignment.

Main responsibilities:
- Drive the development and successful delivery of HR Value Stream / process improvements to improve flow, increase customer satisfaction, deliver financial productivity and enhance risk mitigation.
- Design new processes, implement process improvements, and coach HROS / Payroll team members on effective Value Stream work
- Partner with leaders, managers and employees to identify, address, and eliminate process related obstacles
- Partner with leaders and team members in HR Operational Services, HR COEs and SBU & Corporate HR to improve / lean-out processes that result in improved HR effectiveness and efficiency
- Coach and supervise project team members to ensure HR process improvement exercises are properly planned, developed, and implemented to deliver the expected business benefit
- Deliver business benefit and builds organizational capability by effectively utilizing critical strategies, structured approaches, and tools including Lean, Value Streams, HROS Business Excellence, Change Management, and Project Management
- Utilize Value Stream mapping techniques to design optimal information, material, and production flow methods
- Participate in gemba walks and coach employees on continuous improvement, standard work development / modification / adherence, flow, takt time attainment, and problem solving abnormalities causing takt misses
- Provide necessary training specific to Lean Transformation tools and methodology
- Help update and maintain visual performance tools, including mission control and MDI boards
- Assist all teams as needed to ensure improvements are made and sustained
- Own and successfully execute activities outside the Value Stream including the preparation of HROS MBR materials

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma or similar disciplines, and the ability to flexibly apply these disciplines to achieve business goals
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Change Management
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Project Management
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions, sub-functions, countries, and business units
- Certification in one of the following preferred: Project Management (PMP), Lean / Six Sigma, or Change Management
- Business acumen and knowledge of financial processes such as budgeting, productivity, and preparing business cases required
- Demonstrated organizational agility and effective consulting skills
- Strong facilitating, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to use simple statistical and graphical tools such as pareto analysis and cycle time analysis
- Ability to develop capacity models for resource planning and level loading work
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing work environment
