Human Factors Engineer

For this position, you will work as part of a user experience team that supports products related to the mobile phone industry.
Experience and knowledge regarding interaction design for mobile phones and mobile devices is essential.
Other essential skills include the ability to work on a cross-functional product development team, create wireframes, create design documentation, and communicate effectively with product development team members.
We need someone who can work independently and is already located in the San Diego area.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and/or a Master's degree in design, human factors, cognitive psychology, or a related field.

Responsibilities: Contribute to analyses of user needs, and user task flows. Contribute to functional specifications. Propose Information Architecture, based on the product requirements. Provide wireframes to communicate and illustrate your designs. Hold review meetings for all design work. Work through Visual Design issues, and production of graphic assets. Collaborate with team members an all user experience issues for the product.

Interaction Design, Visual Design, Information Architecture, Communication Skills, Creating Wireframes, Creating Interaction Design Documents, Conducting Review Sessions, Applying Common Design Patterns in Mobile User Experience Design, Applying Innovation in Mobile Designs.
