Help Desk, WAN Specialist

Our client company, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, would like to add a Help Desk, WAN specialist to their call-center team. The initial duration of this assignment is for one year, which will likely be extended. You will be a W2, hourly employee of Aquent during this time. We do have health and dental benefits from which you may choose.

Here is what you will do:
You will receive calls from the Corporate Office and Field Representatives. Your focus will be on Wide Area Network (WAN) related calls. You will be cross-trained to handle other call center queues as well. The hours for this position will be between 6am-6pm; likely 8am-5pm.

Here is what you need to have:

Education and Experience:
High-volume call center experience.
A minimum of 2-years experience supporting Wide Area Network (WAN) or PC desktop environment.

Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, self-driven, high-volume environment with a high degree of accuracy; proven ability to work effectively and harmoniously with all levels of personnel and a proven ability to work independently without direct supervision is essential.

Preferred but not required:
Experience with virtual work stations.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification a huge plus.
Experience with IP phones and broadband technologies beneficial.
