Help Desk Specialist

Receive, inventory, and distribute devices following instructions from Program Managers & team leads, and abiding by our tracking policies and procedures Unpack and inventory new shipments Prepare devices for distribution Ensure that all devices are accounted for and assigned to employees Recall devices and prepare them for secure scrapping Learn and utilize our custom pre-production tracking and distribution software. Work along side our software development team to help design new features and improvements Assist users with technical questions about our distribution tool or policies Collaborate with device distributors in other  offices Maintain communication with the factory and escalate issues when necessary 

Required skills 
Bachelor’s degree 
3+ years experience in a consumer electronics company. 

Preferred skills 
Experience providing technical customer support (such as I.T. help desk) Ability to follow directions, work independently, and follow through on tasks to completion Demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a multi-project, multi-deadline environment Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Self-motivated to learn new skills and technologies. 

Manage prototype tracking 
Coordinate distribution of prototype devices. 
Communicate to leadership. 
Collaborate with team across the vertical, cross org collaboration 

On a day to day this resource will be - 
Taking on distribution of prototype devices 
They will be receiving hardware devices. 
Will be opening those boxes. 
Utilizing internal tracking tool to track and distribute device. 
Communicate to managers 
Distribute devices to managers 

Excelled oral and written communication skills. 
Attending meeting, taking down notes, sharing minutes of meetings. 
Should be well versed in Excel, Microsoft suite. 
Should have management and coordination skills. 
Should have experience working with fast pace inventory. 
Should be able to Multitask and prioritize. 
Should have attention to detail and should be responsible. 
Should understand how to create and update database, produce a variety of correspondence and reports. Should know how to respond to questions and inquiries on various subjects. 
Should have experience in distributing IT equipment and maintain inventory database.
