We are currently recruiting for a Head of Strategy to join a high-end creative advertising agency on a temp-to-perm basis.

The agency provides a full-service solution to their clients, combining expert teams across art direction, stills and moving image, digital design, strategy, PR, casting and artist representation. Their digital team produce a range of integrated campaigns, mobile applications, online magazines and e-commerce websites for clients across the fashion, luxury and beauty sectors; including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Armani and Chanel.

Purpose of the post: The role holder will build on the agency’s strategic planning framework to meet the ambitions and longer term development of the business, to align their services to external and internal strategies. To provide a focal point within the agency for organisational wide change. To steer the strategic vision of the agency and overall business through the direction of the CEO. To ensure they are utilising the latest methods of communication and presentation and keeping ahead of the industry with innovative pitching and projects.


Job Description and Person Specification


Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the intelligence gathering and research in relation to customers, products, competitors and market share.
• Manage a 5 person team of strategists, planners, researchers and interns.
• Manage and develop wider business-related documents as required by the CEO.
• Understand product innovations for market development.
• Identification of key market trends and development of a model to forecast key influences for the business.
• Strategic development and early-stage planning for all new client projects.
• Manage the writing of all strategy for pitch/proposal documents for clients.
• Deliver pitches and proposal presentations to new and existing clients internationally.
• Manage and analyse audit material gathered for every new client.
• Manage ongoing research and analysis of the market to back-up all projects.
• Manage analysis/recommendation reports for clients on data analytics, SEO recommendations, social media and online marketing.
• Analyse all briefing documents from clients and translate for internal teams.
• Attend new business meetings internationally, represent the company and present the company’s strategic and digital approach to fashion communication.
