Our client is seeking a Head of Editorial, who will oversee the production and quality of all content produced for all digital, printed, internal and external communications.

As Head of Editorial, you will have at least 3-4 years of experience as a Senior Editorial Manager or Editor, ideally with a focus on business, finance or technology. You will have proven experience of being able to deliver a core message to a wide audience by writing engaging copy.

You will be able to think strategically and have lots of ideas to communicate to the business.

The role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis at £50,000 - £55,000 + generous benefits.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing the quality and consistency of content for all production in EMEA
• Implementing standards, assisting with setting regional editorial priorities and ensure adherence to style guidelines
• Provide editorial review for channels of communication including digital, printed, internal and external
• Liaise effectively with regional and global functional communication teams including but not limited to, Media Relations, Digital, Design and Colleague Engagement and Campaign Management

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree with an understanding of business environment or equivalent experience, such as journalism or a think tank.
• Extensive top-tier editorial experience; financial journalism experience preferred
• Exceptional, demonstrated writing skills (professional writing experience strongly preferred
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills with proven collaborative working style allied to a dynamic approach
• Strong analytical and research capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities
• and deadlines
• Strong client service orientation with balance on managing expectations
• Uses sound judgment
• Solid change management skills, i.e. comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity
• and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments.
• At least 3-4 years of senior editorial / copy experience in leadership roles
