Head of Digital Marketing

My client is a next generation, consumer centric business with gorgeous offices and a culture that inspires.

They are looking for a seasoned and driven Head of Digital Marketing. You will manage the email program, search acquisition, optimising campaigns and landing pages to improve conversion and customer experience. You have deep experience analysing data and iterating to achieve ambitious weekly targets.

Success Criteria

- The ability to ideate and deliver digital strategies and tactics against measurable

- ROI and aggressive Cost Per Sale targets

- Drive strategy but also be willing to roll up your sleeves and execute every day, overseeing the Sydney-based Digital team

- Collect and share best practices and learnings with the wider business

- Work to better integrate online marketing channels to ensure optimal timing, consistent messaging, and superior customer experience.

- Deliver improvements in landing page performance and conversion

- Ability to use data and competitive/market research to analyse and report out metrics to make recommendations for improved execution and ROI

- Manage budget, forecasting and reporting on a regular basis.

 
Responsibilities

- Achieving revenue targets for ongoing digital activities

- Optimisation and scheduling of revenue generation emails

- Improve the effectiveness of the website and email strategy

- Improve the Member experience to increase lifetime value, engagement and retention

- Responsibility for managing relationships with business partners and engaging in product development opportunities

- Provide optimisation recommendations to improve online sales conversions

- Execute a robust testing strategy and process for all digital channels.

- Manage the email program, search acquisition, optimising campaigns and landing pages to improve conversion and customer experience. 

Essentials

- Experience managing a high volume and sophisticated email marketing program

- Proven experience in optimising the customer journey

- 4 years experience in a senior Digital Marketing role where you were directly accountable for revenue

- Experience with Marketo or a similar enterprise level email software.

Skills

- Collation and analysis of digital analytics

- People management (oversee a team of 2 Email Production Co-ordinators)

- Relationship management of business partners

- Project management

- Previous experience working in a fast paced environment

- Strong communication skills

- Business operations management

Nice to have

- Experience working with ASIC regulated financial services products

- Experience generating leads from Social Media platforms.
