Head of Brand & Marketing

The ideal candidate is an energetic and passionate marketer / brand leader, who has built youth
focused digital brands. The candidate has built teams and helped develop new capabilities within
a consumer focused business, and is excited by the prospect of building a new leading youth
focused sports network.

Our client is a leading digital content production and audience development studio.
They have a history of creating ground breaking & award winning digital content

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Represent the channel’s brand and be its creative guardian, internally and externally.
• Grow the brand and build its identity for the audience across all media platforms
and channels. Lead the marketing approach from strategy and planning to delivery.
• Lead the Content Marketing team, currently of 3 but growing, to integrate data led insights and creative ideas
to enhance marketing efforts.
• Nurture and develop ‘audience development’ as a capability within the business and refine and
codify the internal approach to it
• Represent the company at industry conferences and forums.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 5 year’s experience in a digital marketing or brand role, client side or agency.
• Have an instinctive feeling for how to represent and market youth-focused brands.
• Able to create and oversee the fundamentals of a digital marketing department.
• Deep knowledge and interest in digital, social media and content. Even deeper interest in and passion for sports.
• Passion, positivity, diligence, self-motivation, confidence and an ability to lead teams and
individuals. Analytical approach with creative flair.
• Active interest in mentoring and developing team members.

Salary £40-£45k
