Head of Brand & Creative

These are exciting times at the Company and this is a high profile role within our game-changing organisation.

You will have demonstrable experience in leading and empowering brand and design teams both strategically and creatively. You will have delivered innovative creative and design solutions in multi-channel environments, have the ability to make tough creative decisions and bring others along with you.

In the role of Head of Brand you will be responsible for Brand strategy as well as being our brand guardian for all creative and design across our employee, customer, retail and digital channels. You will bring Brand thought leadership in to the role and continued best practice insight.

• Your core responsibilities will be to devise and deliver the Brand strategy in line with our wider company plan and Marketing strategy. As well as manage and build a multi-skilled team of 18 across Brand Management and Design.
• You will be the Brand Guardian, liaising with and presenting to colleagues across the organisation to ensure compliance with the Company`s brand strategy and guidelines, emphasising and protecting the brand integrity.
• In this role you will work closely with Comms Strategy & Planning, PR & Social, Comms & Execution, Customer Comms, Insights, Customer facing channels and the People team. You will set the brand strategy and engagement principles and have regular alignment and progress meetings to ensure that Brand objectives are being met.
• You will have a passion for leading design and innovation and embrace the opportunity to lead, guide, support and develop our design capability and to take responsibility for the design integrity of our employee and customer facing channels.
• Understanding our customers and prospects is key to this role so you will really get under the skin of our target audience, understand what makes them tick and how we are going to reach them.
• You will develop and manage strong relationships with our key partners and agencies, taking strategic responsibility for developing appropriate briefs and ensuring creative integrity and vision objectives are established.
• You will also be responsible for ensuring the Company’s UK arm is represented at global forums, sharing key learning’s and best practice, building and maintaining relationships with the Company’s network worldwide.
• You will create and manage measures for how we assess the success of our Brand and report on this regularly.
• You will have budgetary ownership and management.

Must Have:
• Senior brand strategy and planning experience for game changing Brands
• Experience in driving Brand change and improvement - from inception to implementation.
• Significant experience of creative leadership and demonstrable success in building leading Brands
• Proven track record of highly creative design work in a multi-channel environment, including print, video, AV and digital.
• Experience of establishing creative authority and leadership.
• Evidence of supporting and guiding design teams, offering creative direction and support and of ensuring design integrity in line with brand guidelines.
• Significant understanding of consumer insight, audiences, and a strong pedigree in analytical thinking
• Experience in communicating and influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Experienced in managing and leading a team.
• Experienced in managing agencies.
• Excellent standard of written and spoken English.

Nice to have:
• A demonstrable interest in the telecoms industry
• Knowledge of the sector and the business.
• Academic or professional qualification in a marketing or business discipline.
