Top Fortune 100 client in Auburn Hills, MI is in need of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst. The HRIS Analyst has responsibility for analysis, definition, implementation, and support of PeopleSoft HR solutions. Collaborate with Information Systems and Human Resources colleagues to develop requirements, evaluate, and recommend solutions. Work in collaborative environment to improve workforce administration processes. Customer base is focused primarily in U.S., Canada, and Mexico with increasing global activity. Position best suited for a highly curious individual willing to learn and broaden their knowledge and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
§ Maintain functional expertise in clients's PeopleSoft HR implementation. Expertise should expand to broader HRMS environment that includes a working knowledge of how and where PeopleSoft data is interfacing across the enterprise.
§ Define robust business requirements and test scripts for PeopleSoft enhancements. Function as part of a small team that serves as the primary PeopleSoft functional support for process, transaction, and system inquiries. Develop a working knowledge of HR's SOX requirements and conduct initiatives to ensure compliance is achieved.
§ Ability to work with HR data in tools like Excel and Impromptu to perform analysis and support decision making.
§ Provide customer support and training initiatives by leveraging effective communication and leadership skills.
§ Provide support for HR applications including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HR system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
§ Identify and recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions or alternate methodologies, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or applicable area of study OR equivalent years of experience.
- 2+ years of HRIS functional experience including implementing enhancements, system upgrades, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience working in an HR environment a must.
- Experience with reporting and data analysis highly desirable.
- Process mapping and process improvement background.
- Strong leadership skills that enable independent and collaborative work.
- Project Management experience and demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
- A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to take initiative, to work independently of day-to-day supervision, and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Able to multitask, work under pressure, and quickly adapt to change.
