We are hiring an HR assistant for a global retailer in Kent, WA. This HR role will primarily be responsible assisting during peak season(9/1-12/1). As well as presenting to large groups at new hire orientations.
The work will be divided between 3 or 4 days/week at events, and 1 or 2 days/week on site. Will be responsible for filling labor orders and pushing candidates through on boarding.
75% of the time will be spent presenting to groups, 25% tracking data in excel. Must have strong presentation skills and feel comfortable delivering presentations to groups.
The presentations will be held at various locations (hotels, colleges, employee offices) so must be flexible with traveling locally.
This candidate must be flexible with hours as presentation times will vary throughout the week. Remote work isn't an option. Some weeks will be under 40 hrs/ other weeks there can be OT potential.

This is a very collaborative work environment, with a close nit team. The candidate will be supported throughout presentation creation from the teams staffing coordinator.
Any previous exp. in agency recruiting or call centers will help ramp up candidates in this role.
As an HR Assistant you will play a critical role in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships, often providing candidates with their first impression of the brand. The HR Assistant team supports most technical divisions including Digital Technologies, Web Services and the Infrastructure teams. You will work on updating candidate records in recruiting systems, meeting candidates during on-site interviews, keeping recruiters informed of candidate issues and providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email. You will be responsible for tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status reports to recruiters. You will coordinate scheduling of post-interview debrief meetings and provide debrief materials. You will also collaborate with recruiters to ensure hiring team success by identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency. Finally, you will assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed. Requirements:We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills, a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations, and a team player with a solid work ethic. You must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization and with external candidates. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision. You will be expected to have great organizational skills and attention to detail, be able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. You must be flexible, able to change direction quickly - comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in dealing with ambiguity. The Best candidate will have a solid sense of accountability and acute personal judgment - ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate. Previous recruiting coordinator experience or equivalent required. Team player, solid work ethic, willing to pitch in where needed. Scheduling experience is highly desired. Previous work in reception, customer service and/or coordinating is a plus.
