Our Fortune 500 Media & Entertainment Client is looking for a HR & Insights Data Analyst to add to their project team. The HR Analytics & Insights Analyst will report to the HR Analytics & Insights Consultant and will provide analytical and technical support to the team, to our client's HR colleagues across business units and to other sister business units. The analyst will design and execute standard reports, statistical models and other projects designed to provide business and HR leaders with insights from people data to help them make data informed decisions that build strategic advantage, mitigate risk and create ROI. 

The goal of HR Analytics & Insights is to manage workforce information, to provide insights and to drive data informed decisions in support of short- and long-term organizational goals. HR Analytics & Insights comprises three key, interdependent components, People, Process and Technology. Direct benefits of this work include cost and time savings through the elimination of manual data collection and reporting methods as well as new visualizations and predictive models, with the ultimate benefits including better decision-making, an increased employee value proposition, and regulatory compliance effected by access to timely, reliable information. 

Work Schedule 9a-6p preferred, 8a-5p is ok 

Basic Qualifications 
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Analytics or related field preferred. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, I/O Psychology, or closely related field with an emphasis on research design, data modeling, and analytics, along with at least 1 year of experience or a MS/MBA/MA degree in fields listed above. 
• Strong applied mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills to design and interpret predictive, descriptive and inferential statistics are required. 
• Excellent analytical skills and must have strong attention to detail (required). 
• Demonstrated experience with statistical software required (example knowledge in SAS or SPSS preferred). 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a high degree of initiative and creativity is required. 
• Strong expertise with Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required. 
• Strong knowledge with Excel – able to work with Pivot Tables and conduct V-look-ups is required. 
• Demonstrated expertise in data collection tools preferred. 
• Experience with Cognos is a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation. 
• Ability to maintain and manage complete confidentiality of information. 

Responsibilities 
• Partner with the HR Analytics & Insights team to implement an analytics framework that enables a shift from stand-alone reporting to predictive models in support of strategic initiatives. 
• Produce clear, concise reports and/or presentations, leveraging Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Create, enhance, and maintain Tableau data visualizations. 
• Design and develop useful metrics, predictive models, dashboards, analyses, and data reporting to support a variety of HR and business initiatives, including through the use of simple statistical and database analyses. 
• Manage multiple simultaneous work streams. 


Required Education BA Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related field
