Growth Manager Australia - Fashion Start Up - In-House Role!

This is a super cool in-house opportunity in Sydney!! My client is a fashion marketplace app that is looking to launch in Australia after extremely successful launches elsewhere overseas!

My client is a young and hungry company with a global footprint, this is a very exciting place to work. This role will really see you benefiting from an exciting new venture whilst still having the backing and experience of a global powerhouse, to be able to scale quickly.

Reporting into the founder this role will have responsibility for the local growth, development and sustainability of my client in Australia. You will manage the local PR and Marketing initiatives, assist in strategy and reporting insights and progress to the global team.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Responsibility and freedom to create across social media, influencer engagements and PR.
• Manage day-to-day output of 3rd party creative. PR and media agencies.
• Build relationships with key influencers and fashion entrepreneurs.
• Hold focus groups/ meet-ups, and provide insights from users.
• Collaborate with product, BI and digital marketing teams internally to build a loyal user base in Australia.
• Execute local CRM (email and push) messaging.
• Report on daily progress, as well as contributing to long term strategic planning and reporting.
• General and financial administration.

You will have/be:

• Either; experience as an entrepreneur/ within a startup; or a really hot portfolio, showing 3-5 years’ experience working in-house on a brand or in a leadership role within an agency.
• A comprehensive understanding of modern communication tools and practices – from digital to analogue and anything in-between.
• Well connected with local media and influencers.
• Examples of personal or professional projects related to fashion.
• An appreciation of digital marketing business tools and platforms, eg. Google Analytics, Facebook for business, Adjust.
• Ability to work with engineers and analysts (any background/ hobby-ing in tech and/analytics is a plus).
• Experience in a start-up, online business a plus.
