About the agency and the job
With well established offices in both Sydney and Melbourne this branding and creative agency comprises in-house competencies that embrace everything from strategy/creative development, customer experience to implementation and performance measurement in mainstream and digital channels.

Off the back of many recent account wins their team is growing again and we are looking to fill a Group Account Director position. This job will see you owning the relationships of a few key clients across the eCommerce and financial services sectors. You will be responsible for the management, growth and development of your clients.

This agency has been hugely successful across branding, strategy, advertising and digital marketing. They’ve had great tenure with their team members and most of the people in the Sydney team have been with them for over 3 years some for more than 6. It’s a tight knit team, they’re collaborative and support each other to achieve both personal and business goals.

About the ideal candidate
You’re a business leader with strategic thinking underpinning all you do. You take pride in your ability to develop meaningful and empathetic relationships with your clients. You’re articulate and persuasive in your presentation style.
You enjoy nurturing and bringing out the best in your team through coaching, mentoring and managing their careers.
You get a buzz from spotting opportunities and acting on them. While the rest of the world waits for success to happen, you’re the one grabbing the bull by the horns and making things happen.
You’re passionate about branding & advertising and naturally seek out new ways to make your clients’ businesses successful. You’re ambitious & commercially savvy, maybe you want to run your own successful agency one day?

What our client is looking for
- More than 5 years experience leading, owning and growing client relationships
- Strong end-to-end experience in managing branding, digital, design and marketing campaigns
- Strong experience managing clients’ budgets across campaign costs (media, research, execution)
- Strong presentation skills and a gun in pitches

Salary range and benefits
Apart from working within a great collaborative culture, a supportive team and a flexible working environment, my client is offering a competitive salary. $130000 - $180000 negotiable.
