We are looking for a Graphics Specialist to lead a team within a global professional services company based in Holborn. This is a 3 month contract paying £35,000 pro rata and to start ASAP.

The Role
We are looking for a Graphics Specialist Team Lead who has flair and good skills to support the creative element of the business. This role will involve with a variety of work.

The Graphics Specialist Team Lead will have the necessary creative flare and software ability to provide high quality work, including creating, formatting and amending PowerPoint presentations,
Word documents using templates and therefore adhering to the brand. In addition it will involve typesetting, designing and amending multi-language questionnaires (InDesign). Therefore a high degree of attention to detail is needed so accuracy is paramount.

This role will also require the ability to transpose concepts into powerful visual communication tools as well as provide a formatting service for existing documents. At all times it is essential that
all documents are branded correctly, are visually appealing and the message is communicated effectively.

As an integral member of Office Services the Graphics Specialist – Team Lead will provide high quality graphics support to the business, together with day to day operational management for
colleagues within the Graphics Team. As the environment can be pressurised, the Team Lead will need the ability to manage the teams workload and cover to meet deadlines, maintain absence
records, monitor and approve overtime and expenses and contribute to the performance management process. The Team Lead will therefore need to be flexible, a good team player, be able to work to tight deadlines and have the ability to take on challenging tasks in a changing environment. The role requires someone who enjoys being – and wants to be – stretched, is very well organised and is focused on strong delivery.

Performance Objectives:

• Managing a booking-in system and maintaining records of work requests
• Managing the production of documents through to final print
• Designing/manipulating graphics and artwork for inclusion in corporate presentations
• Co-ordinate workflow
• Ensure documents are produced to brand
• Designing graphics and print deliverables which are visually engaging and meet objectives
• Planning timeframes for individual projects, identifying critical deadlines and establishing
priorities and milestones

• Provide leadership and motivation to others
• Developing and managing a creative team
• Provide adhoc training support to administrative staff in using the client's templates
in line with the brand

• Liaising with internal (and occasionally external) printers
• Build strong business relationships within the business

The Requirements
• Demonstrated experience as a team player within a professional service environment
• Proven experience in a graphics role, preferably within a corporate environment
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Illustrator and InDesign

Good knowledge of Photoshop, Excel and Visio
Excellent proof-reading skills
Exceptional eye for detail
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to juggle and prioritise tasks
Have an extremely flexible approach to working
Excellent client facing skills
Ability to multi-task
