One of our top clients in the Allentown area is seeking out a diverse and driven talent to own a variety of projects. This role will encompass a full scope of conception through to delivery on the design and development front. This is not limited to, but will include a variety of web-based, interactive and/or multimedia graphics, animation, video production, slides, sound and/or content materials for internal and external online communications channels, presentations and other electronic media to support branding and communications.

1. Web Development
Responsible for computer-based, Web-based, or multimedia-based layout, graphics, animation, video, sound and/or content for use on corporate websites, social media channels, presentations, video productions, multimedia programs, Web sites, CDs, DVDs, emails, and other electronic media by:
• Creating, maintaining and updating dynamic, interactive and personalized Web sites and searchable/interactive web pages with enhanced graphics to improve load time.
• Integrating and maintaining complementary technologies as they emerge.
• Managing and updating content in the current content management system
• Providing suggestions for brevity of content and layout to produce logical, cohesive information on the department/program page
• Creating or improving web graphics for cross-browser implementation using graphics software such as Macromedia's Fireworks, Photoshop, etc.
• Assisting with both formal and informal orientation and training of other employees.
• Designs and enforces coding standards for superior technical solutions.
• Executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Consulting with Web Support, when applicable, in the creation of graphics for use throughout the corporate and subsidiary web sites and social media channels.
• Designing Web interfaces.
• Developing layout design and concepts, selecting and securing appropriate illustrative materials.

2. Audio/Video
Perform technical duties in the production of video products for broadcasts, CDs, video streaming, and other field and studio video productions by:
• Operating and maintaining video editing equipment including edit controllers, video cameras, hard disk video recorders, video distribution switchers, and audio mixers.
• Determining and editing special effects, composition, and overall design of video productions including editing and manipulation of photos.
• Developing and maintaining digital photograph archives.
• Utilizing state-of-the art production tools to design and produce video and graphic materials.
• Creatively translate abstract concepts into effective visual form in a variety of media.
• Preparing and adapting graphics and print materials to fit needs of clients and target audience.
3. Technical Support
Conducting research into new technologies and trends by:
• Researching and making recommendations for software and equipment purchases.
• Contacting vendors to research products and resolve technical problems.
• Providing technical consultation to staff and clients.

• 3-5 years of related professional experience
• Experience and competency in the use of: Macromedia Studio MX Suite, Adobe Premiere & Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, HTML, Java (or comparable programming language), Adobe ColdFusion (or comparable skills), graphics development tools, content management tools such as SiteCore and SharePoint, Windows operating systems, Mac OS, Internet, digital 35 mm cameras, video cameras and associated editing software as examples. Proficiency and experience in design for social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Degree in Web Design and/or New Media or a related field, highly-preferred.
• Progressively responsible experience in the conceptualization, design, and production of graphics, video, Web, and print materials.
