Graphic/Production Designer

We are looking for a Production Designer with strong design skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign skills needed.

The position will be part of an internal marketing agency, responsible for preparing visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts for visual marketing media produced by the company. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of how to communicate conceptually, how to make use of typography, colors, illustration, and photography together to graphically represent the company brand. This person will also serve as production artist and will be responsible for layout and design utilizing the organization's visual brand templates. The successful candidate will work with marketing teams, helping with direction and execution. Ideally the candidate should also be comfortable taking on projects from various internal departments.
Experience in healthcare is helpful, but not required.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint including thorough knowledge of using themes and master slides, working with charts and graphs, and typesetting
  • Applying and maintaining company identity and branding standards
  • Assisting with daily departmental tasks and maintenance in print and web mediums
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. HTML a plus.
  • Experience in current Mac and Windows platforms

    Essential Functions:
  • Creates high quality designs for our marketing collateral. Applies knowledge of layout, typography and style sheets within designs.
  • Creates and maintains campaign designs with a consistent look, feel, and tone from creative concepting to final production.
  • Maintains attention to detail. Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage time and workload effectively and efficiently (works on multiple projects simultaneously)
  • Makes redline edits from proofreading marks
  • Maintains internal naming conventions, digital file organization as well as follow internal processes.
  • Prepares and sets up files for final output for commercial printers (proper use of bleeds, folds, panel sizes, and gutters) as well as upload files to FTP site.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Holds a Bachelor?s degree in Graphic Design from an accredited university or college, and has a minimum of 2-4 years work experience in a related field.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Must have strong typography, layout design, and production skills, with in-depth knowledgeable about standard commercial printing processes.
  • Must be creative, organized, deadline-driven, and enthusiastic, with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to handle constructive criticism in a professional manner
