Our client is looking for a solid Graphic Designer who has expertise in PowerPoint, as well as InDesign. This person will be expected to be conceptual, as well as be able to execute designs in PPT. Designer will be responsible for upholding brand standards while creating effective, dynamic and well thought out collateral and presentations. He/She will partner with writers, art directors, project managers and marketing partners in the development of work that will be used across a broad range of outputs (on-screen, iPad, print). This candidate must have the ability to communicate information and data effectively with the use of animation, builds, as well as the creation of easy to understand charts, graphs, layouts and diagrams. Must be able to work quickly and shift gears with ease, as this role will touch many different projects.

Here are the keys to this position:

  • Must have strong design samples/portfolio to share that demonstrate ability to work with presentations and type to make effective pieces.
  • Speed and familiarity in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat are keys to success for this assignment.
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines and ability to get up to speed quickly on existing creative and come up with new ideas is key.
  • Must be able to work in high-pressure environment, with little direction and fast turnaround required.
  • Flash and web skills a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Offer key executives consultancy-type service when developing meeting and business update presentations
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage time effectively, to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently
