Our healthcare client located in San Francisco, CA has an immediate need for a Graphic Designer with presentation and PowerPoint experience. This is a contract position, with the possibility of direct hire for the right candidate. This client requires drug and background screening.

Job Description:
Create clean, effective and beautiful communications that help employees have a more in-depth understanding of our mission, strategy and strategic goals. The successful candidate will be a team player, collaborative, strategic, and an internal communications subject matter expert.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Liaise and manage internal clients on how to solve their communication needs, including researching, conceptualizing, mocking up, drafting, reiterating and finalizing print and web-based graphics, web pages, PowerPoint decks and videos.

* Research, develop and execute creative ideas to help drive employee engagement of various online and offline campaigns.

* Develop, assess and optimize current and new communication channels to deliver key messages to internal stakeholders.

* Execute research and planning on the content, design and direction of our internal social business platform (Jive Software) while working with the technical team to implement.

Advising and coaching clients on how to best leverage our client's tools.
Occasionally writing, editing and blogging.
Assist with other Internal Communications departmental projects.

Job Required Education/Experience

The Graphic Designer will have an extensive track record of developing and successfully implementing communications, utilizing multiple platforms and media.Ideally, the candidate will possess:

The successful candidate will have 2+ years history in graphic and/or web design, advertising, marketing, communications or related field. A bachelor’s degree is a plus.

An online portfolio showing expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
Experience working with Power Point.
Motion design and live action video creation and editing (Final Cut Pro, After Effects) preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of branding, layout, color theory and typography.
Strong writing and editing skills preferred.
Ability to multi-task, manage time and projects, and meet deadlines
Personally motivated, excellent time management skills and can handle and give constructive design critiques professionally
Familiar co-designing and managing complex projects, including creative campaigns.
Comfortable working in a corporate environment.
