One of our valued clients is seeking a Print Designer for their Creative Services dept. This is a long-term, temporary, open-ended job onsite with our client.

POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, a leader in the oil and gas business operates in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Creative Services is responsible for packaging design and production, print promotions, print management, interactive design and development, digital asset management and brand stewardship.

The Designer is responsible for the design and development of print projects. Print projects include point-of-purchase, promotions, sales collateral and advertisements, tradeshows and motorsports, and packaging.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Responsible for the design and development of projects for internal clients, creative services staff and external vendors.
*Proactively meets with clients to provide creative and value-added solutions while maintaining brand compliance. Acts as an advisor. Gathers information on communication objectives, audience, budget and deadlines.
*Participates in meetings and is a member on work group items. Ability to work in a team setting or alone for concepting, design and production.
*Must have a good knowledge of various print processes such as offset, screen, flexographic and digital printing.
*Responsible for reviewing new print projects, designing comps, gaining approvals and then producing final print-ready deliverables.
*Meets all deadlines. Proactively and consistently utilizes web-based tools for project management, scheduling and archiving.
*Allocates time wisely and effectively.
*Handles multiple priorities regarding routine matters and some issue resolution.
*Will escalate difficult situations to supervisor.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Excellent creative ability.
*Self-starter.
*Superior presentation and analytical skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
*Develops and/or adheres to brand identity systems and graphics standards guidelines.
*Ability to work in a high volume project environment with multiple concurrent deadlines. Work with project coordinators to assess workload and realign projects. Hits all deadlines.
