Graphic Designer (Typography Focused)

Our food and beverage client has an opening for a graphic designer. They are a small team that makes some pretty amazing art. This designer will help to create large scale art to hang on the walls in their stores. They've used various mediums to execute their creative vision! Their team also designs packaging, marketing collateral, and supports digital/social. If you are interested in a true mixed-media environment and have the drive and talent to produce exceptional work, we would love to hear from you. 

Job summary: 
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the development of materials to support the in-store experience, marketing and promotional calendar. This position will meet creative 
objectives as directed by Marketing, Store Development and Creative leadership. 

Summary of Responsibilities: 

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 
  • From ideation to completion, creating art for the client's stores, brand and corporate identity, marketing collateral, packaging, digital, social media, and marketing support tools 
  • Contribute and collaborate with the Creative team and cross-functional teams 
  • Work between multiple projects with diverse parameters and objectives 
  • Develops and adheres to budgets and timelines based on creative criteria, project briefs, and expected production values 
  • Maintain the highest level of innovative design execution 
  • Present and defend work with confidence and ease 
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment 


  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field 
  • Design experience with a design firm or in-house design firm. (5+ years) 
  • Proficient in Adobe CC 
  • Solid knowledge of prepress production skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail 
  • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills 
  • Collaborative communication skills with internal partners and external vendors 
  • Current with design trends 
  • Passionate about creating work that is compelling and impactful 


  • Retail, Food/Beverage or Environmental design experience 
  • Experience in fabrication with materials and large scale art/design work 
  • Illustration skills 
  • Digital/social media experience 
  • A keen aesthetic and strong design pov 
  • Excellent typography skills
