Graphic Designer (Product Labeling exp a MUST)

Our client is looking for a Mid-level Graphic Designer to join their team, to work within the Product Labeling Department, in their Santa Rosa location. This is a one year contract opportunity to join a high-profile healthcare company.

In this role, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating design solutions and electronic publishing support surrounding product labeling. There are established brand and regulated guidelines, so the Designer must be comfortable within working within established standards and templates. This role will also be responsible for performing style checks and conversions using established standards and utilities.

Additional responsibilities include managing files as needed for electronic databases of shared information and ensuring that content is kept up to date; Following standard guidelines and documented procedures for Master branding, technical labeling, and regulatory requirements in the creation of technical documents; Following standard guidelines for naming, organization, storage and transfer of graphic and document files; Taking direction from technical writers, the technical writing manager or other more senior graphic designers


Requirements:
3-5 years of professional graphic design experience (coming from a pharma or medical device company most ideal); Excellent communication skills; MUST have some experience in a regulated industry!

MUST have experience working with Product Labeling.

Software Requirements include:
Acrobat Reader, MS Exchange, MS Visio, MS Word, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Illustrator, Prisim 2.3, SAP, Agile
Adobe InDesign
