Graphic Designer (NYC)

Are you a talented Graphic Designer looking for your next exciting opportunity with an established real estate company? We knew it! Well look no further! Our client is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to join their small marketing team for a 3 month project with strong potential for extension!

So what are some of the duties involved? I’m glad you asked!

− Create design and layout of various marketing materials, including transaction brochures, offering memoranda, and new business presentations while adhering closely to corporate standards
− Import, format, and edit text and graphic elements
− Produce site plans, maps, and infographics
− Import, format, and organize Excel charts, tables, and graphs into InDesign files
− Design supporting collateral; site tour books, landing page graphic
− Design invitations and other special projects
− Oversee project print production in accordance with designated timelines
− Manage multiple projects and ensure all timelines, quality expectations and other requirements are met
− Other related duties as required

− Three or more years of hands-on graphic design experience
− A portfolio of print design projects (PDF or web-based)
− An eye for subtle yet engaging print layouts and corporate aesthetics
− Technical and creative proficiency working in Adobe Creative Suite 5 or higher
− Mastery of InDesign style sheets and other tools/software required to produce
multipage financial presentations and reports
− Proficiency working in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
− Attention to detail and timely delivery of error-free drafts
− Ability to preflight files for commercial print, knowledge of digital and offset printing processes
− Strong organizational and time management skills
− Professional experience working with print layout of long-form brochures or publications highly preferred
− Must be a team player but have ability to work alone without supervision
− Ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills.
− Ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects and be accustomed to a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
− Experience working in a corporate environment and in real-estate or finance industries preferred
