Graphic Designer (Health Education)

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for translating brand strategy into graphic design.

This position develops, executes, and provides direction on graphic design solutions for highly visible, multifaceted marketing and member retention initiatives program-wide supporting support of brand positioning.

A key responsibility of this position is to develop high-quality, cost-effective collateral for projects and services for a broad array of target audiences and to ensure that the design effectively conveys the brand and meets business objectives.

The Senior Graphic Designer is also a key member of creative conception teams that help define and execute communication objectives.

Excellent design skills, with 5-7 years of related experience in developing diverse collateral design for a range of market segments, audiences, and industries (consumer and business-to-business).

Experience in publications, marketing, in-house communications, advertising, and/or Web/multimedia.

Demonstrated conceptual ability. Portfolio of work samples must demonstrate mastery of complex, high-end projects.

Highly proficient in design software, with thorough knowledge of current computer programs for page layout, photographic/color manipulation, illustration, scanning and pre-press technology.

Demonstrated expertise in preparing design for cost-effective printing and other output.

Demonstrated ability to sustain high productivity and attention to detail amid competing priorities and tight deadlines. Creative problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Position Function
· Take information (copy) given and create a layout that adheres to Brand standards
· Organize a great amount of information into an interesting and appealing manner using mainly InDesign and sometimes Quark.
· Works with our Sr. Editors, Traffic Coordinator, Health Education Assistant and Group Leader. May also work with Sr. Consultants. Team: Publications Unit
Qualifications (clinical, healthcare, technical):

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
· Minimum of 5 years with design development

· Mac
