Our client, a top level financial services company, is looking for a talented contract designer to support our Bank creative team. We hope to find

JOB SUMMARY: Design, develop, produce and prepare marketing and/or communications materials for
Nationwide Bank. Conducts the planning, layout and preparation of visual communications work for
inclusion in product brochures, displays, presentations, slides, proposals, technical manuals and similar
graphic applications. Typically working on multiple projects under limited supervision. Needs to be
dependable, adaptable, and be able to manage own work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Designs, develops and implements the graphics, layout, printing specifications, and production for
sites, brochures, displays, programs, presentations, multi-media, electronic, promotional pieces and other
communication material for the company and/or business unit as outlined in creative brief.
2. Active participation in brainstorms; executes on concepts and partners with writer. Supports creative
team in the communication of concepts to business partners.
3. Designs graphics and prepares formal layouts that include finished artwork or illustrations. Evaluates
and assesses materials for accuracy of design, color and graphics.
4. If needed, coordinates with in-house and outside vendor services to meet production requirements.
Provides instructions or directly assembles and prepares final layouts for printer.
5. Familiar with brand architecture.
6. Pays attention to content detail and recognizes opportunities to collaborate on design and content.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Undergraduate studies in graphic design, illustration or related field.
Experience: Experience in all aspects of the graphic and art design field, from concept through project
completion. Must have experience in visual communications including multimedia, print, and electronic.

Knowledge: Must have extensive knowledge of layout, design and graphic applications, concepts, and
theories. Proven knowledge of computer graphics software programs including Adobe InDesign, Adobe
Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Working knowledge of business software, Microsoft Office. Must have
knowledge in cross-platform issues and solutions, offset printing processes and limitations, branding
methods and strategies as well as company visual identity guidelines.
Skills/Competencies: Must have a high level of creative and technical skills necessary to create effective
designs, layouts, and graphic illustrations for visual communications across a wide variety of media. Must
have strong skills in the operation of advanced computer graphics, illustration, animation, and software
programs. Must have strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. Must have strong verbal and
written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels within the company as
well as with outside vendors.
