CLIENT is an $28M VC-backed startup building a game changing analytics platform. They make Big Data Analytics interactive by allowing people to quickly, flexibly, and visually iterate on questions that provide insights about how products are used and how customers behave. The speed, scale, and design are unlike anything ever offered. The CLIENT has taken an innovative approach to developing technology and seeks to do the same with their product and brand.
CLIENT is growing fast with an extremely passionate and experienced team who have built data tools and systems that scale from millions to billions of users for some of the biggest names in the business, Facebook, Google and LinkedIn. CLIENT understands the value of being human centered, design driven and technically innovative. At CLIENT, we are doing the same as our prior companies and are looking for people who are inspired to build a great company and product grounded in these principles.

CLIENT is looking for a talented, opinionated, and humble designer who can help evolve our brand identity to meet our bold ambitions. This role will be responsible for working with marketing to help achieve its objectives. You’ll express the CLIENT’S brand through digital and interaction design, identity design, art direction, print, advertising, apparel, and event design. We are building a world-class design and a unique brand that communicates our vision in a compelling way that resonates with our customers. For the right person, this can be a career defining opportunity to do just that.

You Should
• Excel at brand design – You have experience with typography, color, layout, and imagery and know how to bring these elements together into one cohesive form that is emotive of a brand’s personality, voice, and values.
• Go beyond the surface – You understand where each piece of the puzzle fits inside the bigger system. You can create sustainable and scalable solutions that consider the operative side of design.
• Think like an artist – As a brand designer, your work should push past design goals of clarity and function into areas of creative brand expression through bold, provocative, fun, and surprising imagery that captures an idea.
• Seek clarity – Because great design starts with great content, you have an interest in facilitating and shaping that content. You can synthesize a complex message into easily digested visualizations. In describing your design to others, you frame your rationale clearly and passionately.

Responsibilities
• Apply conceptual thinking to create world-class visual design services across multiple touchpoints (web, mobile, tablet, infographics, events, environments and others), successfully bringing together the user and client needs, business goals and technical realities
• Analyze brand marketing challenges and create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
• Evolve the CLIENT’S brand system through style guides, templates, iconography, typography, illustrations, and visual imagery.
