A producer of premium jewelry, figurines, ornaments, watches, home accessories, fashion accessories and more is seeking a GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join their team. This is a freelance to hire opportunity! They need someone who is comfortable with PRODUCTION work as this role is not conceptual.

DESCRIPTION:
The Graphic Designer’s role is to visually express the brand’s essence across all business units within the brand’s guidelines. All work should be captivating, sophisticated and modern and have a high visual impact worthy of a prestige brand.
• Develops and executes original concepts for internal and external communications including, but not limited to, brand expanding initiatives, marketing campaigns, retail graphics, events, brand collateral, co-op advertising, invitations and internal presentations
• Adheres to brand guidelines to create materials and acts as guardian of these standards
• Translate business and consumer needs into creative output:
o Works with account manager and relevant marketing and communications teams to obtain all relevant information, technical requirements and timelines for each project
o Generates creative assets according to brand guidelines and executional mandatories
o Proofs/QAs all work to ensure delivery with excellence
o Prepares and delivers final, print-ready layout in required format in timely manner
• Collaborates with Creative Agency of Record (when relevant) to amplify or extend their work to new mediums
o Provides input on external agencies as needed (e.g. printers, retouchers)
• Develops standardized templates for core branded items (powerpoint, invitations) and executes against these on a consistent basis
• Independently adheres to project calendar, prioritizing daily workload as needed
• Works globally with team and is able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and time zones

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

REQUIREMENTS:
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop
• Comfortable with presentation formats—notably Keynote and Powerpoint
• Experience in a creative field is a must, ideally at an advertising/design firm or executing creative assets in-house for a brand
• Related work experience in the luxury or fashion industry strongly preferred

Educational requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
Years of experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience

KEY COMPETENCIES:
• Multi-tasker: Ability to balance diverse projects on similar timelines
• Detail-oriented: Mastery of all brand guidelines and steadfast adherence to their application across creative mediums
• Prestige Marketer: Understanding of the category and key visual cues that signal it
• Depth of Experience: Knowledge of multiple creative formats—from internal executions (invitations and powerpoints) to external assets (print advertisements and program insertions)
