Graphic Designer

Seeking a graphic designer with a keen eye for emerging design trends and extreme attention to detail. The candidate must be well versed in industry standards of print and digital design. You will work independently and as part of a larger team to create new designs based on existing brand guidelines, handle production requests, design components for campaigns and existing pieces like social media graphics, design event collateral and occasionally have the opportunity to design new branding pieces.

We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, and embraces new design trends, while also being able to work within the confines existing brands and guidelines. As a junior designer, this candidate should understand the fundamentals of good design (i.e.: color palette, balance, etc), and be open to learning from senior members of the team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work in a team environment. Applicants should have at least 4 years experience with a design agency or production team. This position requires you to have excellent design skills, be able to communicate ideas and persuade others to see your vision. It will be imperative that you enjoy collaborating with other designer personalities.

If you feel you can work with little direction, lead thoughtful discussions about design with your team, and contribute to the design portion of a project, then this is the position for you.

Job responsibilities include:
Solid experience with page layout and design within print design
Solid understanding of print and digital design principles
Taking designs and making them production ready
Confidently articulate how the design solution meets the clients’ needs and business goals
Desire to produce high-quality, award-winning, innovative design
Work on multiple tasks and manage priorities
Make recommendations for scalable solutions for short and long term problems
Work closely with the team and others to adjust design based on feedback.

Minimum Requirements
4 years of on the job experience with examples
Preferred experience in creative agency, or production team
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
General understanding of the business and our clients, and their value in the design process
