We are looking for a graphic designer to work onsite in Tampa, FL to work a one-month contract (maybe longer). This is an on-site position and will be 40 hours a week. In this position, you will be asked to design corporate and external collateral -- assisting the Marketing Manager. Key responsibilities include: 1. Produce creative designs in a variety of mediums that convey the company’s message and position with art direction from the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Specialist. 2. Designs industry-facing print advertisements, sales collateral, informational pieces (newsletters, white papers, presentations) and signage. 3. Designs multimedia projects including web pages, web ads, e-books, e-newsletters, presentations, videos, etc. 4. Sets up all promotional item imprint artwork and assures accuracy and integrity of the client's brand on all substrates. 5. Produces designs for tradeshow booths, signage and large displays.
6. Assists with implementing marketing campaigns across various media channels such as print, direct mail, email marketing, and online advertising. Assists with tracking results and reports analytics to Marketing Manager. 7. Maintains a high standard with regards to detail and accuracy of all printed and online collateral. Obtains and tracks proper approvals prior to publication and distribution. 8. Follows the client's corporate style guide and works closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist to help manage their brand. Proposes edits and additions to the style guide and helps maintain the document. 9. Maintains archive and record of all final design files on shared network as well as company-facing static versions on SharePoint site. 10. Performs preflight and prepress processes on all print files; packages files and sends to print; reviews printer proofs and secures proper approvals on all projects. 11. Researches emerging trends, seeks out new design methods and shares knowledge; possesses a desire to learn and advance knowledge. Additional skills/requirements include: > Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks); >Some HTML and CMS experience; >E-Marketing WYSIWYG formatting (e.g., iContact, Constant Contact, etc.).
