Fortune500 financial services company seeks Graphic Designer for 6-month contract opportunity in Pennington, NJ.

Responsibilities/Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating communications and education materials/collateral to promote products and services offered by bank's Retirement & Benefits Group.

• Layout and design communications developed to educate plan participants on the four cornerstones of the communication program:
1) Maximizing Company Benefits
2) Investing Wisely
3) Setting and Monitoring Goals; and
4) Maximize Accumulated Benefits.

• Ensure that all pieces produced maintain appropriate branding standards and support a strong presence of multicultural images.

Summary of Position
Work with the Creative Services team to concept, design, and produce communications for electronic and print distribution in support of 401(k), Non-Qualified, and Equity plans.

Core Knowledge Requirements
- Four year College degree in Graphic Design or closely related field.
- Must have solid knowledge of the Macintosh platform and operating system.
- Solid experience or certification in Adobe Creative Suite 6 including: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver.
- HTML coding for email and web page programming.
- Knowledge of the PC platform and operating system and Office a plus.

Complexity of Decisions
• Manage jobs from concept to completion
• Juggle numerous projects and provide back-up support to other designers.
• Continually think of new ways to present the same information for the best participant experience while containing costs.
• Work with team members to conceptualize or adjust pieces so that copy and design are in harmony.
• Ensuring that pieces are designed to spec and well thought through early in the process.
• Very high attention to detail on the creation and through entire process of developing a communication piece while following department standards.

Contribution/Impact on the Business
The Retirement & Benefits team is experiencing an extremely high volume of custom communication requests. Continued growth is forecast and the strong focus on Equity Plan growth directly impacts the need for quick response to design demands. The candidate will help us execute on these communications and enable us to meet the deliverables under tight time frames. In addition, this will results in client satisfaction and more new business opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.
• Experience and/or background in agency or corporate marketing environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment including clients, editors, communication consultants, project managers, proofreaders and management.
• Macintosh platform and Adobe CS6 applications.
• HTML a plus
