Graphic Designer

Vitamin T is searching for a Senior Graphic Designer (2D) with experience in large scale exhibits and events (not just a web/digital designer). You will create two-dimensional solutions to fulfill client marketing objectives in a variety of venue applications including, proprietary events, tradeshows, special events, press events, permanent showrooms and executive receptions. You will integrate the design process with message content to create branded solutions, both in large format and printed collateral. You may also be asked to develop entertainment and/or theatrical applications for live presentations, Edutainment, Techno-Marketing, and Script development in storyboard form.

In this role, you will actively participate in programs involving the interaction of multi-disciplinary teams, including brainstorming and providing graphic design perspective. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate, interpret and develop successful messages and graphic communication in client events, tradeshows and collateral. This may involve multiple dynamic concept ideations. You will develop brand message solutions to create integration with client and agency marketing communications objectives. This role will assist the Creative team, as requested by Creative Director, to conduct activities within studio on specific programs. You will also assist the project lead in developing final presentations, and choreograph a well-organized thought process communicating the conceptual thought behind the work.

As Senior Graphic Designer, you will also create innovative GPJ presentation techniques for sales and client usage via Pitchbooks, RFP responses, Style
Boards, Multi-Media. You will also participation with outside agencies, Production, and GPJ resources in the fulfillment of client solutions.

Travel to shows, both domestic and international is expected.

You will be successful if you are able to:

• Manage the design, development and implementation of all event related graphics in support of overall defined look and feel and brand objectives.
• Demonstrate ability to simultaneously manage multiple client projects and meet all critical path parameters, as well as all budgetary objectives.
• Collaborate with clients in a creative role, including brainstorming meetings and input sessions.

Reporting Structure As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will report directly to the Executive Creative Director and studio lead.

You will collaborate will collaborate frequently with various GPJ personnel/departments including, Creative team members, Client Services and Operations.

What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication or related course of study.

5-6 years’ of experience as a Graphic Designer.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects software.

Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience with Environmental Design preferred.

Marketing experience preferred.

International experience preferred.

Knowledge of construction basics preferred.
