Mid-weight Graphic Designer

An exciting company wide transformation has lead to a number of positions being newly created for creative and forward thinking mid-weight Graphic Designers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate finished artwork for catalogue, press, point of sale and corporate marketing material utilising Apple Mac and related software
• Support Creative Team in achieving quality outcomes in all marketing materials
• Produce advertising artwork for marketing material from business/marketing strategic briefs through to final print ready PDF
• Adherence to creative design and layouts communicated to studio
• Maintain all brand guidelines and standards
• Execute corrections, efficiently and accurately
• Approved concepts followed and developed
• Files/templates correctly produced
• All logos and master artwork are quality checked
• Deadline adherence
• Agreed process and timeline
• Layouts and checklists followed
• 100% compliance with brief supplied
• In-store initiatives considered and introduced
• Continuous improvements made to design
• 100% accuracy
• Quality of advice and guidance provided
• Meets promotional program
• Maintain style guides
• Produce and present layouts for catalogue, press, point of sale and corporate marketing materials

Experience

• Degree/certificate in Graphic Design/Graphic Art/Finished Art
• At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Graphic Artist/Finished Artist within a fast paced, high volume corporate production studio
• Demonstrated skill and advanced knowledge in MAC based software including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
• Knowledge of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Sound knowledge of prepress and print across all marketing channels
• Experience working in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
