Graphic Designer

Our major financial services client seeks a Graphic Designer to join its fast-paced and highly creative in-house team; work will be 50% production and 50% design in print and digital mediums. The company partners with some of the top brands in the nation—including Apple, L.L.Bean, Williams-Sonoma, the NFL, among others, for it's payment solutions line of business. he Graphic Designer will produce customer marketing and communications for partner brands and the company's own brand, in addition to creative materials for business development efforts. Must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with the creative team on larger, cross-discipline projects.

**This is a 6-month assignment; on-site in Wilmington, DE, normal full-time hours.

  • Expert level knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and Mac computer systems.
  • Proficient in production/prepress.
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong portfolio with clean/corporate design samples.
  • Creative ability to translate complex business concepts into effective communications and technical ability to execute those designs.
  • Ability to quickly understand a company’s brand and translate that brand into differentiated, winning pitch materials.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with thorough attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels.

    Key Accountabilities:
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop and produce best-in-class customer marketing and communications for diverse media: print, web, and mobile devices.
  • Work with the Communications team on various internal initiatives, including company events, executive presentations and employee communications.
  • Work with the Business Development team to ideate and create impactful and memorable pitch materials including proposals (books, packaging and customer marketing samples) and presentations.
