Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer for a three month contract starting next week. The Graphic Designer will work on marketing collateral and ad design for all company properties.

MAJOR FUNCTION:
Graphic Designer will design high level materials and support Creative Director in art directing. This position will partner with clients to create strategic and compelling marketing materials including: print advertising, brochures, POP, direct mail, posters, signage, banners, barricades, billboards, presentations and event graphics. The Graphic Designer will assist the Creative Director with reviewing and approving design work to ensure all designs have consistent brand messaging and meet the brand guidelines. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for concepting, designing and self-managing high level work for national marketing platforms and local marketing programs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop compelling creative materials that are brand appropriate, right for our customers (both B2B and B2C) and help to drive key initiatives
• Concept and art direct major campaigns
• Project manage small day to day projects
• Collaborate with multiple business partners to create print collateral that is consistent with the brand guidelines
• Maintain and push forward the look and feel of the company brand as it applies to all printed material
• Work with vendors to produce collateral and maintain quality

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 3+ years graphic design experience in an agency or corporate setting
• High proficiency in Adobe applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Print production experience required
• Extremely detail oriented
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish priorities, and maintain deadlines
• Ability to maintain productivity in an environment with changing priorities and deadlines
• Self motivated and works well in a team environment
• Strong communications and personnel management skills a must
• Design in the retail industry not required, but is a plus
