Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for leading all graphic design efforts and assists in creating a cohesive brand message utilizing technical and creative design skills, knowledge of active product and retail environments.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for maintaining and establishing graphic standards and guidelines.

Support marketing efforts with branding collateral (including posters, banners, advertising, coupons, invitations, etc.)

Work with different functional areas on project specific graphical needs (i.e. visual toolkit, templates & layout, web banners, etc).

Create branded internal documents (i.e. training manuals, creative brief, HR documents, etc).

Oversee the design, layout and approval of all brand identity elements: hangtags, labels and packaging for Apparel.

Work with Marketing Director & Visual Merchandising Manager to execute graphic needs of store environment (window display, in-store signage, pop etc.).

Design and produce in-store signage and POP.

Develop permanent store graphics (i.e. signage, vinyl messaging).

Research and assist in sourcing new techniques, materials, processes, and vendors for store graphics/signage.

Vision “what’s next” and act as team resource to develop concepts.

Preferred Skills:

· Demonstrated advanced design skill

· Proficient with Adobe CS 2 &3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

· Experience in branding with proven ability to incorporate marketing principles in design

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Working knowledge and understanding of pre-press, separation, printing processes, silkscreen color separation, etc.

· Experience in specialty retail, collateral/advertising and apparel all a plus
