We seek a strong Graphic Designer with solid experience who will be responsible for conceptualizing designs and producing materials for electronic media by providing a visual style consistent with business group and/or branding requirements, working closely with creative director and visual design team, prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects and supervising other graphic designers if required.

The ideal candidate will be someone who produces quality work and is thorough.
• Adept at design materials like Information Architecture (or sitemap), wireframes, and user flows.
• Balance end-to-end user scenarios with individual feature components.
• Quick shift from detail work to a 20000 foot view of a product, and vice versa.
• Able to internalize limitations and make tradeoffs.
• Have conviction to represent UX/Design to others, including leadership.

The day-to-day activities may be:
• This is a UX lead position. Once ramped up, will lead a work stream.
• Discovery phase: info gathering, connect with thought leaders, conduct meetings and work sessions, synthesize.
• Definition phase: define, brainstorm, document, verify.
• Development phase: explore, concept, design, review, incorporate feedback.
• Delivery phase: specify, annotate, communicate, walkthrough and refine.
o Work with Studio Manager, Creative Director and Art Director.
o Work with other designers (Visual, Interaction, Motion, Production).
o Work with Design Researchers, Prototypers, Developers and PMs.

The skills and experience we seek in a successful candidate include:
• TV domain knowledge or experience.
• Ability to hold large meetings or work sessions.
• Experience with content management systems.
• Understanding of Operator TV business or experience.

We believe in open space and collaboration. Our design studio is the only open space in the Silicon Valley campus. We play hard and work hard. We have Wine Down Wednesdays to celebrate getting through half the week. We have a tight relationship with our major gaming console department (used to be part of the same team). We work on TV products, so we have TVs everywhere!
