Vitamin T client is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 3+ month on site contract in Bethesda, MD. Check out the job description below and reach out if you feel you are the perfect candidate! Client is within walking distance of a metro stop!

We are seeking a graphic designer to join our team for a period of 3-4 months while the art director is on maternity leave. The designer will work with staff and other freelancers to produce print and marketing materials, websites, and information graphics. As a designer, the successful candidate would have the opportunity to design for well-known, mission-driven foundations, think tanks, researchers, policy experts, and nonprofit groups worldwide.

The designer’s duties will include:

• Designing brochures, fact sheets, reports and other publications.
• Designing websites and email templates.
• Creating charts, graphs, and information graphics from data. (infographic samples and illustration skills are a PLUS!!)
• Designing visually appealing slideshow presentations using PowerPoint and Prezi.
• Developing graphics and animations for video.
• Developing website frontend designs.
• Collaborating with a team to create innovative design solutions across all media.


• Proficiency with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with the Office suite—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—and the use of themes and templates.
• Illustration skills are a big plus.
• Experience with digital and offset printing methods is desired.
• B.A. or equivalent in graphic design with at least 2 years of experience.

• Able to use time-management skills to prioritize multiple projects, making sure all deadlines are met.
• Organized with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Dedicated to creating social change and impact through innovative design approaches.
