Established beauty company seeks experienced graphic/package designer. This role is responsible for the creative execution of a wide variety of projects and initiatives; translating key elements of the brand’s unique vision through compelling packaging, advertising, collateral, point of purchase. The Designer will work independently under the direction of the VP, handling multiple projects concurrently. The designer will also collaborate on large-scale projects within a team environment led by VP or Design Project Lead. This role will also include a percentage of design and oversight of creative executions in selected global markets. The ability to fully partner with internal Marketing and Digital team members is critical. A combination of maturity, emotional intelligence and communication skills will be critical in navigating the challenges & pace of a highly successful and growing business.

Internal and External Interactions:
Internal: design / advertising / digital organization, marketing (domestic & global).
External: print, package or POP suppliers.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a designer across a variety of practices in graphic design; specifically print advertising, packaging, collateral, point of purchase displays. Experience in the Beauty/Fashion sector of consumer is desired. Translation of print executions for mobile applications is a plus.

Skill-Set Requirements
• Proficient in Adobe CS3+ (emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
with a working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word.
• Complete understanding of concept development, design & and all phases of production.
• Awareness of design, fashion / beauty, retail, social media and lifestyle trends is a must.
• This position is located in North Hollywood and may require domestic travel for press approvals.
