Graphic Designer

Looking for a Visual UI Designer to contribute to the visual information architecture design for one of the group's next innovation.

As Visual UI Designer, you will be responsible for synthesizing the user experience requirements from feature designers, and finding innovative ways to visualize this information in a user friendly way. You will assist with creating detailed style guides that provide the framework for visual design and asset creation.

Responsibilities
- Design logical visual information architecture
- Visually skin wireframes of the entire UI
- Work closely with Design, Production, User Research, and Dev to iterate on best solutions to UI challenges
- Proactively identify and address risks

Qualifications
- Deep understanding of UI design for console games and best principles of interactive design
- Ability to translate design documents and briefs into workable UI systems; strong skills in crafting effective mockups and iconography
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Fluent with common design tools; familiarity with XUI, Flash, PhotoShop, and After Effects is ideal.
- Ability to produce high quality work quickly with the tenacity to produce several rounds of iteration in pursuit of the best design solution
- 3+ years of experience working on user interface, preferably on console games Degree in design, HCI, or related field is preferred

3-5 years of work related experience required. Must have strong visual design skills with the ability to design quality graphics and user interfaces. Excellent communication and project management skills required. Ability to motivate others and to work under constant deadline constraints is required. Must have the ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively. Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign CS). Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of typography is important. Portfolio review required. Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
