Graphic Designer

We are seeking a designer to join our New York based Americas Creative Services Team. The candidate should have 5+ years of design experience, either on an in-house team or agency. 

Key tasks: 

  • Ensure all assets are produced in a timely manner and in line with brand guidelines 
  • Manage stakeholder expectations with regards to deliverables 
  • Provide quality control over work that is produced 
  • Work closely with and take art direction from team members and creative director on a number of key 
  • initiatives 
  • Develop and deliver ideas about new types of marketing/digital collateral ie provide creative concepts when requested 


Essential experience / knowledge / competencies 

  • 5+ years of design work experience 
  • Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop 
  • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint 
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS 
  • Strong design aesthetic in layout, composition, typography and color usage 
  • Possess strong understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital 
  • Ability to understand and apply branding guidelines 
  • Experience and interest in data visualization 
  • Knowledge of pre-press and production standards 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment 
  • Ability to function independently or in a team environment 
  • Solid attention to detail 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi task and meet tight 
  • deadlines 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Financial industry experience not imperative. 


Responsibilities 

  • Design high-quality and innovative marketing solutions for a breadth of client-experience oriented 
  • platforms, including events, marketing collateral, campaigns and digital products 
  • Support and receive feedback/guidance from and work with senior members of the team and creative 
  • director 
  • Work closely and collaborate with marketing teams to create and bring ideas to life 
  • Manage projects from concept through completion 
  • Articulate and present creative concepts clearly 
  •
