Graphic Designer

Calling all graphic designers! Our Fortune 500 Consumer Products client is seeking a skilled designer with a strong sense of fashion and apparel. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years experience designing style guides and mood boards, a strong portfolio of fashion focused projects. Must have experience designing graphics for apparel, particularly for infant/toddler/tween with a girly aesthetic. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Designs badges, patterns, and icons that are rich in storytelling and on brand
  • Develops trend boards that specifically connect to specific franchises/properties
  • Able to work with limited and/or early reference in order to flush out designs
  • Able to share and communicate ideas on an on-going basis
  • Takes feedback well and is able to adapt designs to suit changes in direction
  • Occasionally and when needed is able to present ideas in meetings
  • Works with minimal supervision

Skills:

  • Strong awareness of consumer market trends
  • Understands storytelling and how it translates into product
  • “out-of-the-box” thinker
  • Thorough knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote
  • Traditional illustration skills are a plus
  • Experience with character based designs a major plus

Required Education:

  • BA/BFA in a related field (Graphic Design) or equivalent work
