Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualization and design solutions that support my client's marketing strategies worldwide. The Graphic Designer, under supervision of the Creative Director and in collaboration with senior members of the team, will execute assignments through a variety of channels including print, digital publishing (AEM Mobile), e-mail, web and events. The Graphic Designer must have a strong portfolio of work including digital and print, and also showing clean typography, icon work, good sense of visual hierarchy and experience working with photography.


Responsibilities

• Produce sales collateral (brochures, sell sheets, flyers), event graphics (trade show booths, banners) and online/digital communication (email blasts, digital folios)
• Maintain brand and style guidelines, web standards and provide brand guidance for employees across the company
• Design icons, logos, infographics and other illustrations
• Explore new digital publishing technologies including AEM Mobile, Adobe Muse and Edge Animate
• Collaborate with designers and freelance creative professionals to produce new and engaging collateral
• Work closely with traffic and project managers to meet all deadlines and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Participate in global marketing and corporate events


Requirements

• BFA or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
• Online or PDF portfolio submitted with your application
• Strong level of design skills and knowledge, and trust in your creative intuition
• Understand the importance of the selection, commissioning or editing of photography and illustration
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong time management, prioritization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to take creative direction and work collaboratively with a team
• Proficient in all of Adobe Creative Suite (CC) including publishing to the iPad
• Knowledge of final mechanical file production and prepress
• Ability to work globally with a diverse client group, occasional taking calls outside traditional work hours
• Energetic and outgoing personality, proactive and eager to learn
• Previous agency or in-house experience preferred
