External Content Designer
This division within a top tech compnay scales product and critical customer solutions to enable magical user experiences. Critical to our efforts is creating polished, professional external communications in the form of presentation decks, instructional videos, help centers, and more.

As part of our team, you’ll provide design solutions that complement and up-level partner-facing content. Working alongside a team of writers and editorial specialists, you’ll create clear, detailed content to help partners onboard and thrive while continuously working to increase comprehension, product adoption, and issue resolution. You have the ability to cue a partner’s next steps or lead them through a product through the use of beautiful, informative visuals. And you can integrate feedback from a number of stakeholders and varying perspectives for a seamless, integrated end product.

This is an individual contributor role requiring creativity, business sense, and graphic design experience. Success in this role requires knowledge of professional-grade externally-focused communications, online content development/management, and project management. In short, we’re looking for someone who is intrigued by breaking down complex concepts into component parts, and crafting visual assets that illustrate them brilliantly.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with subject matter experts to distill complex technical concepts and procedures into clear, actionable visuals.
• Produce refined, partner-facing assets and templates, and be aware of possibilities for scaling as they appear.
• Integrate feedback from a number of stakeholders and varying perspectives to create a cohesive, partner-focused end product.
• Apply brand-specific visual guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
• 2-4 years of experience producing externally-friendly designed collateral.
• Comfortable working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Google Slides.
• Ability to create clear, concise, and understandable visuals.
• Proven ability to maintain multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently, and integrate feedback through repeated project iterations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with complex technology-based products for a technically-savvy audience.
• Clear understanding of business needs and sensitivity to differences across various groups (functions, regions, etc).
• Persistence to iterate, refine and improve constantly.
