Graphic Designer – Retail Décor + Brand

Reporting to the Creative Director, Retail Décor + Brand, the Designer will be a team player on the creative team and should have demonstrated experience in graphic design and production disciplines; layout, color, typography, mechanical building and be able to successfully use this knowledge to create compelling environmental graphics for exterior and interior retail store environments while maintaining brand standards for the Retail Décor creative team. Must be self-motivated, self-managed and have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.


Areas of focus will include (but not limited to): Exterior Store Branding; store windows and signage, Interior Store Branding;
store décor graphics and signage, Brand Standards; style guides for each area of discipline and store format initiative.


This candidate must possess speed and energy to fit in a fast paced environment that is reactive to business needs. The Designer
will be responsible for ensuring that creative projects meet their business objectives, deliverable dates, that creative is on-brand,
style guidelines are updated and adhered to and overall creative quality is met. The ability to work collaboratively with enthusiasm and teamwork with internal business partners, external agencies and vendors is important. This role will need to partner closely with the Creative Director and Senior Designer to ideate and solve day-to-day creative business needs. They will also be responsible for maintaining an excellent working relationship with the creative team, account services and business partners.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 1. Creating new concepts for in-store signage, developing and updating the look and feel of existing creative assets and brand standards. In addition, duties include production and mechanicals for creative deliverables
  • 2.Work closely with Creative Design Manager to support the creative needs
  • 3.Organize and manage days to day projects
  • 4.Develop and maintain partnerships with internal partners
