Studios is an internal group of creatives at The Company who bring design thinking to mission critical projects. What we’re looking for in you: We’re looking for designers who can design brilliantly and dangerously. You’ll need to be comfortable working on several projects at once, ranging from small (yet impactful) assignments, to large ground-breaking initiatives that help build brand love, engage its community and drive sales and profit growth. This position requires strong leadership and teamwork skills, someone who has the ability to work with art directors, mentor other designers, and inspire the team at the same time. We interact with the global business, so you’ll need to be able to explain to non-design employees what you are doing and why it benefits the company and its products in a compelling, engaging and simple way. We want people with the skill to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, tackle uncomfortable issues head on, and participate in design meetings, client presentations and briefings with confidence. In this role, you will produce content and collateral in a wide range of formats, including printed material, motion pieces and interactive projects that are not necessarily limited to the digital world. What skills you should have: • Exceptional knowledge of and experience with Adobe CS (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and AfterEffects) • You’re not scared of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in both the Mac and PC environment • Excellent design and typography skills, with an understanding of design systems and templates, grid structures, layout principles, color theory and informational design • You must posses a solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation–you know a product needs more than just a pretty face • Extreme attention to detail • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Irregular hours may be required around concept debut and key deadlines across the project schedule Interested candidates who are selected for consideration will be given the opportunity to complete a design project prior to the interview. Here is where you will be able to show off your ability to present, as well as your methodology, conceptual design, and communication skills.
