Graphic Designer - Midweight

Our client, a global courier service with numerous franchises in Australia is looking to hire a Graphic Designer for their marketing team.
This is an exciting in-house client side role where you'll be able to take ownership over design projects and work within well established brand guidelines.

The role will suit a designer who enjoys structure, needs minimal hand holding, has a strong understanding of print design and who has a portfolio demonstrating samples outlined below.

Duties
• Design concepts, layout and production of advertising and promotional materials associated with the marketing calendar (including flyers, advertisements, rate schedules, timetables, depot posters, tender documents, proposals, presentations, etc) for Franchisees and the Marketing Team
• Design and production of bi-annual colour newsletter/magazine
• Design exhibition displays.
• Work with Global Marketing Manager on global initiatives
• Ensure all artwork and specifications adhere to corporate guidelines
• Ensure marketing campaigns are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate internal communication activities including assisting in the production of bi-annual conferences
• Coach franchisees in the development and implementation of local marketing activities
• Develop & maintain open communication and delivery of internal customer service to franchisees and franchise support staff
• Liaise with preferred suppliers to ensure the best outcomes for all franchisees
• Administer Marketing service request as required
• Other duties and activities, including the provision of back up marketing support as required

• Appropriate qualifications in graphic design related disciplines.
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro
• Experience using PC
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Demonstrated creative and innovative thought delivery
• Sound understanding of managing brands and marketing collateral for design consistency and strength.
• Attention to detail, excellent proof reading skills
• Experience liaising with suppliers in the production of marketing collateral
• Knowledge of printing production process
